Christmas Markets in South Tyrol are the reason why many guests visit South Tyrol during the season of Advent. The magical atmosphere of typical scents, tastes and music brings back childhood memories.

Almost every village in South Tyrol has a Christmas Market, with some of the largest ones held in Bruneck, Brixen, Sterzing, Bozen, Merano and Glurns.

The partly Mediterranean landscape is rich in flora and fauna, with plants such as olive groves, palm trees, cypress trees and agave growing here. And when you are in one of the picturesque towns, enjoying the lovely climate, you might think you are on holiday in the Mediterranean. A lakeside road (135 km) connects the enchanting towns around the lake.
