Trauttmansdorff Castle houses the Touriseum, South Tyrol’s regional museum of tourism. Come discover two hundred years of Alpine tourism history: the museum is fun, interesting and full of surprises!

The museum at Juval Castle, located in the Vinschgau Valley (a 15-minute drive from our hotel), is dedicated to the mountain myth. It houses various art collections: a collection of Tibetan art, an art gallery showing paintings of the sacred mountains of the world, a collection of masks from the five continents, a unique exhibition dedicated to Gesar Ling, the Tantra hall and the expedition cellar. Skilled guides can explain all exhibits of the museum. In addition, a small mountain zoo, the Schlosswirt restaurant serving homemade products, Unterortl Winery offering excellent wines and a farm store at the foot of the castle hill are also part of the complex. Usually, visitors leave Juval Castle deeply impressed.
